Captain Dan is a native South Carolinian and avid outdoorsman who has been boating in the Charleston area for many years.  He holds a USCG Master Captain’s License and has worked in the marine industry locally and abroad, operating boats for French boat builder Zodiac at boat shows, dealer demo’s, industry journalists, engine manufacturers and local media.  He founded Salty Bum Charters with the intent of combining his passion for sharing the outdoors with others and will make sure you have a safe and memorable experience on the water!
